• Professional Officer: Gauteng

    Purpose of the position:

    To provide a comprehensive support - and trade union service, encompassing all the KPAs, to the SAOU and its members, in consultation with the Provincial Secretary of Gauteng, without being office bound.


    Workplace of the position:

    278 Serene Street, Garsfontein, Pretoria


    Minimum educational qualifications/requirements:

    • Appropriate academic and professional qualifications.  
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with emphasis on disciplinary procedures.
    • Particularly good knowledge of labour law and education law.
    • Experience of and capacity for collective negotiations.

  • Digital Communication Officer: National

    Purpose of the position:

    To provide, in consultation with the Head of Division: Marketing and Communication, a comprehensive support service in respect of all the SPAs to the SAOU.


    Workplace of the position:

    • Diploma or degree in Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design or relevant field.
    • Additional courses in digital marketing, web design or graphic design are beneficial.
